Derek Stirewalt, Fred Hutch and University of Washington, Seattle, WA, United States

Dr. Derek Stirewalt is the director of the Fred Hutch Leukemia Repository, Associate Member at the Fred Hutch, and Associate Professor at the University of Washington.  He is also a standing member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Committee for Senior Adult Oncology. Over the past 15 years, he has been NIH-funded for his work to identify and validate novel genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic models to improve risk-stratification models for AML patients. This work has led to publications in journals such as Nature Cancer Review, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Blood, and Leukemia.


Professor Patricia Tai, Radiation Oncologist, University of Saskatchewan & University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Professor Patricia Tai is a world expert of Merkel cell carcinoma. “A Practical Update of Surgical Management of Merkel Cell Carcinoma (MCC) of the Skin” in ISRN 2013 and four UpToDate reviews in 2017 are read internationally. She had been invited to be guest editor of a 2-volume thematic issue of skin cancer by Banthem Science.
